Composition of the EBS Electronic Braking System

The electronic braking system comprises a foot valve module (with an integrated pedal position sensor), front/rear axle modules (single/dual-channel Electronic Pressure Control Modules, EPM), a trailer module (TCM), axle load sensors, wheel speed sensors, friction plate wear sensors, and an ECU electronic control unit. To implement the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) function, sensors for steering wheel angle, yaw rate, and lateral acceleration are also included. Since the front axle employs a single-channel actuator, to facilitate independent control of braking on one side, each of the front axle’s left and right brake air circuits is equipped with an ABS solenoid valve.
